Hi Everyone,

After a brief period of closure The High Cross Inn is back in business with new tenants. They are Max Smith and his business partner Kath Page and her family.

Max has several years experience of managing Wetherspoon pubs and has also spent time working as Fine Dining Manager at the nearby Lakeside Hotel. Kath is also an ex Wetherspoon manager and was born and brought up in Lancashire.

Together they make a great team and are full of ideas on how to make The High Cross Inn an enjoyable and convivial place to stay, eat and relax in the bar.

A new chef has recently arrived and promises a varied menu of quality food sourced, as far as possible, from local sources.

Regular music evenings have already restarted.

The High Cross Inn continues to offer excellent accommodation for both business people and those on holiday in the area. There are 6 rooms of which four are ensuite and most have recently been redecorated.
