How to find us (For more detailed directions click on the map on the right)

The High Cross Inn is located a short distance from the A595 on the outskirts of Broughton-in-Furness. The inn is clearly visible from the road, and is ideally located for those wishing to explore the southern Lake District.

From the South, leave the M6 at Junction 36, before joining the A590 for the western Lake District. After approximately 20 miles follow the signs for Workington and the A595, and continue for approximately 10 miles.

From the North, the quickest route would be to continue to Junction 36 on the M6 and follow the instructions as above. Alternatively leave the M6 at Junction 40, follow the A66 for 15 miles, before joining the A591 towards Coniston. Follow the A591 all the way to Broughton-in-Furness.
